If you're interested in him, based on your coffee together, then it seems like a good thing to me!

If you don't want to discuss those details yet, just explain that to him, and invite him out for lunch or dinner or something.

Keep in mind, too, that there's nothing wrong with what he's doing--many people want to know your preferences in the bedroom. Unless you NEVER want it to get there, you only have to decide whether you'd rather talk about it now or wait until later.

I just can't figure it out...how can you be so respectful and then just text something like that? LOL Another text was "SEXY LACE OR GRANNYS?" LOL,I just said certainly not grannys...

I had something similar happen recently. The guy was very pleasant to speak too and then he veered the discussion to sex. I politely explained that I wasn't comfortable discussing the things that make me melt with a complete stranger.

He understood and hasn't contacted me since...lol. But, I certainly couldn't expect him to know where my boundaries were unless I told him exactly where they were at. And, I'm not upset with him at all. As I said, he was a gentleman about the entire thing. Even letting me know that he was looking for something different than what I was looking for.

Try being honest (in a courteous manner)about your boundaries with him. Good luck!

I don't know but I think this guy was putting on and act at the coffee shop and you might be seeing his true colors now. Maybe not. It is easy to have post holiday and pre-valentine blinders on and not pick up on any of the other sleeze clues so be careful.

My gut reaction is one thing to play sexy games when someone has invited you to do so in a straight forward way and you give your permission. It sounds like you never took the conversation to that level so this comes off as egotistical, presumptive, and a little cowardly. It might sound terribly old fashioned but a guy who is really interested in you as a whole person wouldn't disrespect you that way after a coffee date. He might send you a card, or flowers, or tell you he can't wait to see you again but he wouldn't send you a sexually explicit text. Sounds like he is showing off for his friends like a thirteen year old texting in the shower-room during PE. You don't know him well enough to be leave yourself that open.

Granted guys are rougher on the approach and if you haven't discouraged this so far maybe it is harmless. That really isn't the point of your post. It seems it makes you uncomfortable so your intincts are trying to tell you something.
One thing I have learned is they never fail you and you should listen.

Since it is only fair to see how you feel when this advances, if it does, I would not do anything rash. If you don't like this exchange don't play along or redirect the questions to a level you are comfortable with. The easyiest thing would be to turn off your text on your phone. He knows your email if he wants to send you a cival letter. In person if possible I would be clear to him how you feel about this exchange.

Fair warning if a guy is into cyber it is Not something they are going to quit doing and the majority of men who are into it don't do it with just one woman.

Mry, just take it slow... I don't see the harm in NOT answering questions you're uncomfortable with and telling him that... If you don't draw the line he won't know where it's supposed to be drawn.. Men are very sexual creatures by nature... Why don't you shoot back questions of a non-sexual nature? He could be trying to get to know you through your answers.. I've seen it many times... There are a lot of men that were sexually neglected in their marriages or LTR's so they want to know if someone they like is going to be the same way...

Disrespect is one thing... Curiousity a whole other thing... So far unless I missed something, I haven't seen blatant disrespect...

OH Gyps we're not sexually inhibited... He didn't ask when she'd sleep with him... I'm not saying he's not sexually forward but text can also lose some of the character... If in person he could have been laughing and she might have found it cute... I'm just saying let's not be uptight but open to let the rope out and see if he hangs himself...
