Was just wondering, do you think that compatibility and dependability
are more important than passion and fun? In terms of a relationship.

When two People have a Compatible and A Dependable
Relationship built on these grounds, then the Passion
is and can be so Sensual and the fun just falls into
place,,, Hell I guess I could of just said,,, YES !!

Good post Ms Txs.

Hummm true you could have but glad you did not.

As far as what's more important, compatibility or fun. Well both
elements are necessary for a healthy, fulfilling relationship. And their
level of importance varies with different types and stages of
relationships. Compatibility can encompass a variety of things including
similar interests and phases in life, whether or not both people want
the same level of commitment in the relationship, and most importantly.
Whether there is a willingness to accept each other's differences and
pursue the relationship anyway. Fun and passion are often more prominent
in but... certainly not exclusive to the earlier stages of getting to
know someone And compatibility and dependability often become
increasingly important as the relationship becomes more serious. There
is no set pattern that determines the types of relationships people
chose. Some may want the fun and excitement of dating without the
responsibility that comes with a long-term relationship. But then
someone that is older may seek companionship and someone with whom they
can settle down with. Or the situations can be reversed. For if the kids
are grown and out of the house and they finally are getting there
freedom they want to have the fun and excitement.drinker drinker

Hummmm, well actually I do take the time and post on the threads the
things that make me curious. And wonder what otheres responses would be
to the same question. And yes at times I do get the basic subject else
where. But... then I take the time and it into my own words.

I don't see why you have to go without any of it. I don't think I could
be as passionate about someone who wasn't dependable, and I wouldn't be
compatible with someone who wasn't fun.

Well, you can have passion without the compatibility, but eventually
passion alone is bound for failure.
So both are important and most of all, balancing both and knowing how to
do it.

i think that you need to have dependability... opposites attract so you
dont have to be super compatible... however passion is a MUST!!!

But now in the long run do we not need the compatibility? For we must
have things that we have in common in order to get along with each
other. But ... still enough differnce to remain ourselves in order to
bring differnt things into the relationship.

And as far as dependability, we must have that also. We must be able to
depend on one another. For those times that life seems to pull us down
we must be able to depend on each other to keep us grounded and remind
the other we will be there for them. And see it through with them to the
end.

And keeping the passion alive is a must it does not have to mean in a
sexually way but in a loving way. For rhe passion is also part of what
attracted you to them and reminds you. That there love is strong and
will be there for you. For they need you as much as you need them. The
Passion is something that two people should never forget to show the
other how much they mean to them. Keeping the passion alive will make
keep a relatiionship stronger.

Ohh and last but not least the fuu. Having fun and enjoying the humor in
a relationship is almost as important as keeping the passion alive. For
when you have laughter in your life even when times are hard it makes
things easier to deal with. Couples that laugh together and love
together also stays together longer than the ones that do not have that
passion for life or the laughter in there homes.

So in reality we really can't have one without the other for each one
enhances the other. In one way are another. Not saying you can not build
a relationship without one or the other but to have a solid one you do
need them all. And Communcation as the number one factor along with
Trust and Respect.
