What happens if we DON'T have a "mental happy place"? You do. Everyone does. How do YOU know I do? For all you know, my "mental happy place" is in reality a barren, liveless, and totally NON-happy place where my pain, fear, and nightmares are magnified by a factor of one-hundred. Or it could be an orange. That's not what I'd technically call a "happy place".

 and if that's all you really got to focus on then you're shutting out anything that could be good that could come into your life.

i know certain scents help stress the only scent that helps me is the scent of spring after a long winter
