Hell No! If he is the type that gets pissed that you go out with friends when he is gone, he is controlling, possibly manipulative, and just shown one of the early warning signs of a possible abuser.

"Get out now," would be my response.

The day the significant other controls what I do in my free time is the day he picks his stuff off the front lawn.

If the guy doesn't offer to "help out" with the expenses of her having another gathering/night-out with friends, then he is just missing a huge opportunity to express true love.
IMO

In a healthy relationship, he would have no reason to be mad at her. If I go out with my buddies, she is more than welcome to go out with her friends or sisters.........hell, she can go out any time she wants.........PLEASE GO OUT!!!!

Why did he go out of town for in the first place? Was it business? Was it a fishing trip with his buddies? Was it something fun and he didn't want me goin along? If he's gonna have the balls to go off somewhere for the weekend to have some fun without me and then get all pissy cause I went out for a girl's night I'm gonna be having a bon fire in the back yard with his clothes. smokin

Oh Mirror this is to funny.. This kind of happened to me... Except we were in a LDR...I finally couldn't take it anymore of the interrogation of where I had been who I had been talking to etc... etc..
I lost my temper and told him if he had this many issues we weren't compatible.
I will not tolerate this type of jealousy or insecurities. I don't care if we were married...

If I was the one that went out of town for the week I would expect him to go out and do something..Why should he sit at home.
