Have you ever heard the term?
Here's the general idea...
You know someone whom you relate to and enjoy their company more than just about anyone else (I'm going to remain gender or lifestyle neutral). It usually is someone you work with although not neccasarily. You can talk to this person about anything and they're the same way with you. You both know that there is an attraction, but you don't act on it because one or both of you are in a relationship.
Not looking for advise, Just opening a discussion. Do you think these types of relationships are healthy, dangerous or anything in between?

I have been in this situation at both of the places where I work but mostly the night time job.

It depends if you are in a romantic relationship or not.

Those kind of relationships r soooo tense. You never know what to do or how to act with that other person it's time consuming and wasteful. And it gives u a headache!

I'm saying just the opposite. You don't worry about how to get along with this person, you just do naturally.

I guess that depends on your definition of romantic.

These can be the most satisfying and most dangerous relationships of all, especially if the romantic relationship/s the people are in are floundering or in a rut. But I think more often than not it is just a case of the grass looking greener on the other side. It's easy to be attracted to someone that is paying attention to you and spending time with you, but I think the time would be better spent devoted to the relationship that you are in than spending it hedging your bets getting close to someone else. It's like looking for a replacement before the loan is payed off.

If I am in a romantic relationship and I start to have one of the situations you described? Why does sex matter?

I'll elaborate. You both know it could be romantic if the situation were different, but being what it is, you don't act on that. you are just great friends.

frustrated You aren't getting me.frustrated

The situation is different if I am single. Unattached. No relationship.

OR

If I am involved in a romantic relationship with someone and THEN this situation arises.

I said in the opening, "One or both of you are in a relationship".

Personally, even if I'm single and they're attached, I respect the relationship.

Yes, and I said my response depended on if I was in one or not.

Nevermind.

I'm out.
