No, you should be okay with feeling love, it is the most important feeling there is (next to a good BM); if the other person is taken aback then they are in your world (although, you can always say "as a friend, right after) a woman I hardly knew said she loved me and when I looked shocked she said, well, I mean its more like I love your brain (then I was scared she was a Zombie going to eat it). You shouldn't be afraid to love someone, even if they don't return it (just don't be a stalker)
