Am I the only one who thinks the woman in CT upset because she's only gettin 34 million in her divorce settlement is a greedy b*tch?? It was said on the mornin program that I watch that she has $54,000 in weekly expenses. I mean, if I had that much money in a year I'd be freakin delirious with joy!!
There are real people strugglin to make ends meet and she's complainin about only gettin 34 million??? Hell, I can't seem to collect $34 a year in child support!! I've managed to get a lousy $19 in the past year. I will gladly trade places with her. I'm sittin here worried about the electric company comin and shuttin me off today cause I can't come up with $106 and this stupid B*tch is cryin about 34 mil???? The news really needs to find some better stories to report about. Let's hear about real everyday people!!

There are people livin on the street, in their cars, eattin at soup kitchens who not long ago had good jobs and nice homes. It would just be nice to see more positives in the news. I agree with you. Couldn't we use 34 mil right now. It is about greed. It seems that more some people have the more they want.
Sometimes I don't read/watch the news on purpose because it is so negative.

I can think of several people who could use the tiniest smallest fraction of the $54,000 a week she spends. And would be extremely grateful to have it!

There is some bum in Somalia, that lives in a dirt hut, and he isn't getting any utilities. He will probably think the same way, and would be glad to change places with you.

This doesn't mean that you will gladly trade with him. Your situation is only bad where it needs improoving. So is the situation of that woman. If that is how much she normally is worth, it is understandable, that she is upset going through divorce and possibly being shortchanged.


We do not know how much thought and work had she put in to make that money.

My point is this, I get tired of hearin about the 'haves' whinin and carryin on when there are so many other people who are grateful for what little they have. I think it's just crazy that a woman would have $54,000 a week in expenses for things such as clothes, hair, nails, etc, etc. Come live in the real world with us that haven't bought new clothes, gone to a salon in ever, and do their own manicures and then I'm sure she'd be whinin a new tune.

I can honestly respect and appreciate the fact that everyone has their own opinions. I have never said that I'm ungrateful for the things that I do have in my life nor bitter for the things I do not. I have been blessed with beautiful children. I still have my health, my children have theirs.

There are times when life's struggles and challenges will frustrate one. I simply had one of those mornings. When this happens I vent to get it out of my system. I don't lay down and have a 'pity' party, grab up a gun and shoot up a dozen innocent people, or consider ending it all. I vent about what I consider to utter nonsense. Thankfully I have that freedom to do so, just as everyone else has the right to do so. I'm not askin anyone to agree with my opinion. I do however ask that u at least respect it, as I do others.

I have gratitude for everything i have and i worked hard to get it all. Still this woman, who wants more than 43 million settlement, is being greedy. The money is being given to her as part of a divorce settlement and yet she wants more. Should have thought of that before signing a post or prenuptial agreement.

At this time of recession many people have been forced to cut back on expenses and I think she can too. $54,000 a week is a bit much, maybe she should consider either getting a job or cutting back on some of her expenses.

I do not need to walk in her shoes to see greed. I read the story and she can do without some of the things she has become accustomed to. Maybe she should walk in the shoes of those of us that can't afford what she can...
