Do you believe in synchronicity, or are coincidences truly just that? Do you think that certain coincidences are just TOO unrelated to be ignored, and should be analyzed for potential higher meaning?

Serendipity and karma.

Happens in my life quite a bit.

So what do you do when it happens? Have you found that they were pointing you in a particular direction?
Sorry, was reading Jung, got to pondering... |

I just notice that I am paying attention to them, which increases the likely hood of more events occurring.
Its like when you buy a new car, before you bought the car you didn't notice them on the road. Now that you own one ,you see more of them. |

Hmmmm good point. After reading your post, I thought about it, and it's very true.
I sometimes wonder if, were we to pay more attention, we could avoid certain mistakes by noticing coincidences going on around us *shrug* |

Absolutely
When you pay attention to the Universe, you find it is paying attention to you too. |

That's a rather intimidating thought if you put it into perspective. The universe is massive - picturing it "watching" me is a bit creepy, lol.
On the serious side, though, I've noticed that my hindsight is far more perceptive than my day to day ability to pay attention. Too much clutter, I think. |

Do you believe in synchronicity, or are coincidences truly just that? Do you think that certain coincidences are just TOO unrelated to be ignored, and should be analyzed for potential higher meaning? There are no coincidences. There is an underlying cause for everything. The subconscious mind knows more and sees more than the conscious mind. When we tell the subconscious mind what is important to us, it will bring that thing to our attention. That is why when we buy a certain car, suddenly we see that same car everywhere. It was always there, we just did not notice it until it was deemed 'important' to us. The subconscious mind is there to serve up to us what ever we think about and bring it to our attention. |

There are things that line up too well for chance, but I'm doubtful that they mean any Higher Causes. Sometimes I think two whales jump out of the sea and spin just because it is the polite thing to do. They ultimately turn below the surface of the sea again, and who knows if or what they say to eachother then.
