If you were a congressperson or a senator?

Me ---

I would stop playing politics and hop the nearest flight to my district. I would then charter a bus(or even just use my personal car) and hold a series of OPEN town halls in every town and city in my district…(you can’t feel Americas pain on the internet)

And ask the people what they want. (sorta like a reverse Tea Party).

Most important… I WOULD LISTEN with strict attention.

I would then return to the capitol with this information… and act upon it steadfastly and with patriotic purpose till what they wanted was accomplished.

Otherwise I would expect to lose my job.

If I could not do this I would step down so someone else could exercise the will of the people.

Why would I do this… because the times DEMAND right action.

(personally I am willing to keep voting till I get someone that can get R done even if I have to attend an election every day for years… Yeah… I AM THAT PISSED OFF)

Are there people out there that can do this? I have no doubt. Are they in office right now? It sure does not look like it from here.

The "people" arn't always right

I would support Barack Obama's efforts to fix this mess, and pray nightly.

Oh please...

they ain't trying to FIX this mess.

they are setting their sights on controlling the next election.

Keep watching.

In the meantime let's watch, and try not to jump to conspiracy theories and false assumptions.

Paint a big A on my chest, vehicle, and anything within sight...light up a cigarette, and walk out.

I usually tell everyone to make sure they don't vote on any of the congressmen they have now or had in the past.

If it was up to me, the entire congress would be dissolved, exception of a few, 98% of them replaced ASAP.

Tell the people that I quit, and why.

Because the people would not approve the right thing to do (open borders, remove minimum wage, restrict unions to denial of work action, arrest the president and the supreme court, disband any program that isn't constitutional or voluntary, shrink the government, legalize any gun or explosive or any implement of war, that is used by the government to the people, destroy NASA, close FED, remove unconstitutional fiat system, legalize all drugs, investigate 16th amendment, rewrite tax code, remove any deductions, make tax due only to those who vote, stop the educational department existence, reinstall the right of any parent to pursue any kind of education for their children that they see fit, investigate Bush with connection to 9/11, etc.

On the other hand, I don't want to do the wrong thing.

so if people see something going down a wrong path...just sit there until it happens? by then...isn't it too little too late?

So, in other words, you'd be only praying, since there is nothing that Obama does to "fix this mess".

Aye and I agree.

Nothing President Obama has proposed will fix this mess... There is a good chance it will actually make it worse.
