Do you think the World Health Organization is making too much of it or is it really more serious than what they are telling us.

I wasn't too worried about it in the beginning, but now I'm not so sure. I hope they are making more out of it then what there really is, for everyone's sake.

I don't like hearing on the news that the CDC doesn't think it's enough of an issue YET. And that there is concern about the commerce at the border with trucks and shipments being delayed, that the cost in loss of commerce is a priority over the health threat. So, maybe we DO have more protection in the way of tamiflu or whatever, but that's going to cost a ton of individuals trips to ERs and doctors' offices and for the medicine.

This is the USA where everything is measured with money including people's lives, where you are not successful if you are not rolling in it, and that you can buy everything including the seat of the senator and more. The land where the old song has to change to "Can buy me love". Where the "Capitalism" has changed its meaning to "blatant robbery"

The flu is basically a major health issue for the very young and the elderly or people that have health issues. (AIDS,COPD,CHF etc) Other than that if people would just use standard precautions when out in public, washing hands, covering your mouth when you cough or NOT going out in public when sick (unless necessary)than the flu virus wouldn't be spread around . Me I don't worry about "catching" it I think I have built up a immunity. Since I am constantly exposed to others pathogens.

Look for what YOU think will help your immune system. Get the best nutrition you can afford & take care of YOURSELF. That is my view of all this. Mexico has some of the worst health conditions, poorest food for her people & least medical help for her population.

It is interesting that all this came to the surface, while so many were at spring break. Great way to infect another country?

I just heard on the news they changed the name from swine flu to Hini influenza A Cause pig farmers were in an uproar over the name and claim you cannont get it from eating pork .But the name swine flu scared many people and stopped them from eating pork.
