I say jess that the native American, which I am 1/8, listened to piss
poor advice from bleeding hearts inside their tribes, and they lost it all. Well thats not true they do have reservations, but Im more like Geronimo, or Tsali, they are the ones we remember, and even their people celebrate. The ones with the bad advice have been forgotten like their proud traditions. They remember Tsali, because now that it is too late they see the wisdom these great men were trying to guide them with. Its a damn shame they saw it too late! Thats what I think they will and do say. I remember the past, only a fool forgets, and if need be I will go the way of the proud rather than cower to the ignorance. Thats what I say!!!! |

Fanta, and where would you be if you ancesters settled in Iraq????
luck of the draw. You did not get here of your own volition. You did not choose to be born here. Because you have the freedom to leave but choose not to do so, means nothing. Would you be one trying to get to this country or to Canada or the UK, if the 'luck' of your birth put you in some adversly afflicted country? And Jess - I see the bird you speak of, they are now becoming many. Like Fanta they stay, it is thier claim, this land of plenty that you have provided. Who will feed them, when you can not, who will feed you, if every other country who once had the means to help SOME, can no longer help themselves???? |

I think it would be far more cost effective to try to help these people
raise the standard of living in their native countries. You could help more people that way. |

GAMail, that is the point of Globalization. It seems the intent is to
create a monetary system that is consistant throughout the world. No exchange rates, you see. That means, for example, that the dollar would be worth the same anywhere in the world. It seems a good place to start, and it will be the most affluent countries who will begin it. There are many concerns though for this process. One would be, how will this new system, compensate for current exchanges, who will value up and who will devaluate? We may be heading for depression that will level out the countries of power, that means the people with the most, will suffer the greatest. |

The leveling of currencies through out the World are American
coorparation driven to create a larger market for their goods, not to help the poor, but to help them. Globalization is not the leveling of currencies. The leveling of currencies is Globalization...The only ones benefitting from it are the CEO's.... |
