Eh, maybe. Who really knows? I'd like to keep the "idea" of it alive, but for now I'll settle for friendship and camaraderie.

I don't know what to think anymore. I do want to be hopeful. Right now I am striving to focus on myself more.

Yes, I believe that there is someone out there for me, as there is for all of us. Each of us has a lifemate out there - and just because we have not found that person yet (?) does not mean that we won't ever find them. Be positive, keep looking up, and BELIEVE.

There is always hope. Without hope that our lifes will grow and change why get up in the morning? I try to keep myself open to possibilities. But have developed a very hefty dose of scepticism. lol I have shared some of my dating disasters in the past the octopus hands trap you in the restuarant booth guy, the guy who picked me up for a date in another woman's car, etc....It isn't that I don't try or give people opportunities. I just refuse to settle at this stage of my life for less than I actually want and feel I deserve.

When at 100, I can look over at someone, and still love them, and they still love me, then yes. Until then, No. I thought I had a life long love, I thought I had someone I would spend the rest of my life with, and she with me. After 15 years she went to visit her parents for the weekend and called 2 days later to tell me she and our two young childeren would not be coming back. I tried everything short of threats and kidnapping, to no avail. She filed for divorce, and 2 and a half years later I still dont know why she left. She said when she needed me most I let her down. No specifics, just let her down. The reason given to me for our divorce was "I've told you before, I am not telling you again." and "Alot of little things that have gone on too long." I don't believe in forever, but I am willing to have my mind changed.

Do you think that there is still hope that you'll find true and lasting love? I always have hope. Whether it happens or not is another story. The good thing is, I am happy where I am in life so I can accept it either way.
