same reason guys do....they decide that things aren't going right and
they want out but don't want to hurt your feelings. Sorry if this
happened to you, I totally understand, I just went thru it myself.

Hate to say it but probably found someone she thought was better than
you. If she calls, emails, etc. when it doesn't work out, ignore her. No
second chances. Yeah, it has happened to me too. Except, I gave the
second chance and got burned. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice
..."

I've been there, too and I agree with the poster who said they probably
just found someone else they were more compatible with. Or, who knows,
maybe they were/are married or in a LTR that was on the rocks for a bit,
and they patched thngs up with their SO, or maybe they're busy with work
or they're having computer problems, etc, etc...

The point is that it really doesn't matter so much WHY they did this,
but how you react to it that's key. IMHO, the best thing to do is get
up, dust yourself off, realize that it most likely has nothing to do
with you personally and move on. There really are plenty of fish in the
sea.

Good luck and best wishes from SheNerd :)

It's part of internet dating yes...BUT also very cowardly...Have some
class and tell the person...I mean really is it really that hard to be
honest????

Not wanting to hurt the other person is an exscuse so they don't have to
feel bad...It hurts worse not knowing....alot more than anything they
could have ever told you...

grumble huh huh

Yeah, think we have all been there or may will all be there. Mine
turned out to be married. Then disappeared for months to clean up his
mess, said he would talk to me when he got back. Is now back but is not
talking to me, hmmmmm. He was giving me the bum's rush when I was first
on here and had no friends, then he comes back, and he checks out my
profile and now I have a bunch of friends on my list, etc., and now I am
snubbed, guess he doesn't talk to people who have friends, only the
"lonely." Could be???? Good riddance in my opinion.

I get a little nervous about all this. Are they doing it to find new
friends or what??

You just have to be cautious and go slow. Who knows why they do what
they do. Any of the reasons listed above could be the reason, but don't
give out any personal information until you really know a person, phone
#, personal e-mail address, etc. Be cautious and go slow. If they are
truly interested in you, they will hang in there and not be pushy. My 2
cents anyway.
