Being an atheist, or agnostic, is favourable to worshipping a false god [Lucifer], who sent his messenger to trick millions into believing he was the one true god.

Yes very true! I just received a phone call from Lucifer complimenting me on my good work.devil

Oh boy! What next do the religuos bible thumpers have in store for uslaugh drinker

Apparently, it's letting me know that I'm going to hell for going to a Nine Inch Nails/Jane's Addiction(original lineup) concert...

The concert kicked ass. NIN's set was awesome, and to see the original lineup of Jane's Addiction on the same stage again was great!(even if they already can't stand each other, again.laugh )

I think the more advanced education becomes, the more religion will wither away.

i call a bull**** aswell.

if christians dont judge anyone...AHAHAHAHAHA

then what is it with you christians not letting a man marry another man...or a woman marry another woman.

they are people too..and their love is the same as any other love.

and by not giving them the freedom that anyother person has..
you are judging them...and being unfair.

this is why i am an athiest.
religions are all very hypocritical.

what kind of god wouldnt let two people marry...just because they are of the same gender.

its quite astounding actually...and im very ashamed to belong to a race..or whatever...
where the majority of people are idiotic homaphobes.

its really sad..

hopefully...things will change.

same-sex marriage supporters will fight again for their freedom next year..

lets hope things turn out like they are supposed to.

Oh...and yes it is true that there are a lot of christians out there thant arent fanatics...props to you :)

As a fellow atheist, I agree with you. But not all religions are that bad. Look at Buddhism, Shinto, Taoism. Look at nontheistic religions, there's alot of humanistic insight there.

christians have given many other religions a bad rap. Basically every relgion that is not christianity is socially unconscionable and revolves around sacrificing babies, mass orgies, and Satan worship. Hint to the christians: even most Satanist don't actually worship Satan.

Atheism will continue to grow as people begin to see the ignorance and false logic at the core of nearly every religion. drinker

What are your personal beliefs of the future for atheists will be?

Will they ever have a position as a Senator, or Supreme Court Judge, or President in the United States?

Will they ever be persecuted in the near future if religion organizations do grow and have the power in government to do so? Or do you think this will never happen?

Will a Atheist be able to advertise their belief on commercials like they are already doing in some parts of Europe?

Will there be more who follow atheism in the future? Let us say a time frame of 50 years from today?

and last but not least

What future does Atheism have? If it has any or profound changes I would like to know your opinion.

i don't believe it
