I live in South Bend, and the best thing about Northern Indiana is living about 45 minutes from Lake Michigan. The sunsets in the Summer are fantastic!

The Flea Market in Shipshewana.
Michigan City.
The Genealogy Center at the Allen Co. Library in Ft. Wayne.
The Lincoln Museum in Ft. Wayne.
Potato Creek State Park.
Turkey Run State Park.
Clifty Falls State Park.
The Farmers Market, South Bend.

I agree! We DO have a great selection of covered bridges. The Covered Bridge Festival was always fun to go to. Conner Prairie is pretty neat, too.
