Well, pretty much anything they did in the 80's, didn't care for the 90's stuff, All That You Can't Leave Behind is amazing.

BTW, U2 (and particularly Bono) has ALWAYS been a political band, if you've seen them live, you'd know that. Politics and religion are major themes in their music and performances.
