WEll, I just bought my Harley yesterday and it was delivered this afternoon.. I grew up riding and had my first one at 14.. Dad raced cars and motorcycles so it was a natural thing for me.. This is a mid-life crisis and I am over 30, over 50. Also a divorce gift to myself. The ***** found a boyfriend and ended a 20 year marriage. Rode every day in my mid 20's. Took off 25 years for the family/husband role. Always said I would get another when my kids finished college. Just did it 6 years earlier than I planned. Best thing I have ever done for myself. And yes that picture in my profile is my M/C.
Love it and ride daily, by myself. NO BUTT/NO PUTT. |

I think I'll take my Wide Glide out for a spin to a road where there is no one.... that way I won't have to worry about impressing anyone.

From a guy: motorcycles DO impress females. Especially if they're hot, maybe a bit materialistic, knowing that if a guy can plunk down 16-30,000.00 on a da** motorcycle, he'll likely blow some dough on her, too.
Plus, she gets to ride high on the back of that seat, preening herself for other guys who are actually better looking and wealthier than the one she's with. Get in the circle using the first guy, and scope out the more well-heeled, better looking dudes with the custom chopper! Pessimistic? Realistic? You betcha. |
