Girlscout, I wish that I had paid more attention in school, rather than smoke pot and get into trouble, so that I could comprehend what a gradient was. Do you mind explaining it to me so you can blow my mind?

Magnifying glass to focus sunlight.

Doesn't work it always makes a cone shaped or mis-shapened hole.

It needs to be straight.

I don't think a magnifying glass would work for that.

Drop a large piece of rock salt on top of the block where you wish the hole to be. Then just step back and wait. It does work, try it.

In atoms electrons organize themselves in valence shells. Like an atom might have a shitload of electrons but they're organized in many rings around the center, or nucleus. Light gets produced when an electron in an outer shell jumps inward, toward the nucleus of the atom. And that gives off light. All light is is jumping electrons!

I don't know. It might take a bowl or two before your mind is blown!

The sad thing is that I have so many hobbies that sometimes my hobbies get in the way of other hobbies.

What a great note to end the evening on. Everyone, thanks for the mind expansion. It's time for me to get some rest. If anyone has anymore gems, please, leave them here. I'm going to check it in the morning when I wake up, to see what I missed.

Holy hand grenades!! Ive been sleeping through a science lesson!noway

Hmmmm so a deep thought. Dunno if I'm capable of deep thoughts my mind tends to be as shallow as a puddle.

Why is it that if something like addiction weather to a substance or action isn't really considered to be a disease, if it does in fact change the chemical makeup in the brain to the point of improper functionality?

Because most of the time, the problems brought about by addiction are self induced.

Yeah but regardless of how the disease is contracted it should still be a disease shouldn't it? ohwell
