It doesn't have to be serious. How about, why is it that men should put the toilet seat down, why can't women put the toilet seat up?

I couldn't care less if the toilet seat is left up or down. I check before I sit, so I don't sweat it. There are far more entertaining things to argue about :)

I'm not trying to pick an argument, just to expand a mind or two.

Yeah. Chemistry 101. If you're really bored I could recite the Periodic Table for you.

Let's get high on mental stimulation, by blowin each others minds.
I'll start. Did you know that all electricity is, is just extra electrons thrown into orbit around the nucleous of an atom. With the extra electron, the atom becomes wobbly and chucks an electron of to stabilize itself, and the next atom catches it and does the same thing, down a chain of atoms, which becomes electrical current. Now this is the trippy part. When we accidently shock ourselves, all the atoms between the positive and the ground, in our body are being rearranged on an atomic level. Brand new electrons, or at least, new to us. Cool huh?
This is the strangest twist to the story of Atom and Eve I have EVER HEARD....noway

So when I took a bare 110 to the head when I was 9 years old, it scrambled my brain?

One of my first memories is sticking my finger in a light socket.
Age 3.

I know the periodic table, but I do wish I knew more about chemistry.

a term i call Probable Coincidence:

if you try to tangle bungy cords on a ladder, you can't hook the ladder to save your life,

but of you just lay them down on the ladder and come back in a week, they'll be all tangled in the ladder, to themselves, and to anything else in the general vascinity

Here's a good one. Lay down in your yard and look up at the sky. Then tell yourself that your not looking up, but down, your body being sucked to the Earth like a ceiling due to gravity. Then see the infinite abyss of space, waiting below you.

Did that once while under the influence of dangerous substances, had to pull the blankets over my head to keep my atoms from surrendering their pattern.

hahaha! :D

at slumber parties, we used to walk around the house holding mirrors parallel to the ground and facing upwards, then looking into them we'd pretend we were walking on the ceiling. similar, but in a 12-year-old girl way. lol.

I was thinking about something similar the other day. Just lying in bed staring at a light bulb and all I could think was "Light is just electrons descending gradients and throwing off energy."

And that blew my minddd.
