I can cook like a dream. But I cannot bake. I'm a baking failure. I made scones. From a mix. Only one ingredient to add. Water. They still failed to cook up properly.

it took me awhile to learn to bake...practice practice practice..lol

If it makes you feel any better I am a failure at saving money!
And scones are not that easy btw. maybe next time. Good luck!

I have this WONDERFUL Mulled Cider Honey Spread, and nothing to put it on. Well, I did have one bad scone with the honey. I can't just keep eating it off a knife.

Oh well, at least you can cook. I bake from scratch, but I don't cook; I love the microwave.

I did preheat the oven. I know baking is my only area of cooking I have issues with. So I was meticulous in following the directions.
Maybe the directions were wrong????? |

Baking can be tricky business, humidity, room temp, variation in over temp can play havoc.
Thats what I say when I wind up baked baked frisbees. |

check for high altitude directions they might help you out..
 you might be boarder line where they would work better..
