Namely because Dan is right. It happens all of the time on here. People post their early relationship finds on the boards and boom...doom sets in. I think he's just trying for G.L. to avoid that pitfall.

You can be naive if you like, but i am quite an expert in online dating and forums, i know how they work. If you cant see any sense in what i said, it means you are a novice. He hasnt met the person yet, and he thinks she might be the one...he probably only first started talking to her within the last few weeks.. I was actually trying to be helpful, you jump straight in to online relationships like that, and you are setting yourself up for a disappointment. It really doesn't matter what you think, or what I think, it matters that, for this moment, this person feels joy. Why would you want to take away even the briefest of joyful moments from another? He is living for the joy of the moment, and that should never be quashed to express ones personal views. |
