The last few nights we have been getting spectacular thunderstorms
rolling through my area. Last night I took some pictures of a really
gorgeous one that rolled through around 8:00pm. My digital camera has
horrible quality but even still picked up some of the vibrant colors. I
did not add color to the pics at all, and if one saw this in real life
they were much more vibrant.

I also took pics with my (film) camera...which should have much better
results once I get the film developed.

But check them out!!!! I put them on my profile!!!

One looks alot like a funnel cloud (horizontal) it never turned
vertical.

Hey really kewl pics.

excellent pics hun, thank you for sharing. I love htunderstorms to
begin with and those are great to look at.

The weirdest part is the most colorfull clouds were in the east, not the
west where the sun was.

As soon as I get my film developed I will put them on. It was really
gorgeous and the digit camera doesnt do it justice at all. But dont
worry, my 17 year old camera will, LOL!

ya Twilight they came through her in Nebraska about 3:30 A M and it was
spectacular lightning!!!!!!!!!

Not much lightning last night...harmless storm, but funky cloud
formation & color. But tuesday night...WOW, we had a very intense
lightning storm! Wish I had a better camera, but I dont think I would
be outside at all that night!

same storms rolled thru wisconsin last night also...sirens went off...
dark clouds with fingers reaching for the ground...very cool

I know what you mean!!! It looked like tornado's in the making but they
never touched ground...or so I hear.

The pic with the long horizontal cloud HAD rotation but never turned
vertical.

The funnel cloud pic is the 3rd from the left on the bottom.


My other pics will hopefully show more detail...I hope I can get them on
here by next week.
