long stories short..
he was so bitter and had such a bad attitude.. not to me but to the world.. which is how he would have been to me eventually.... that I left him in the parking lot of the restaurant and had to call the waiter cause I felt I needed to apologize.. had one that had a nasty cold and kept blowing his nasty snot filled nose right at the table while I was still eating... but I have met a couple that were very nice and just had a good time, mature enough to realize that there were no expectations, and not bitter when we didn't fall instantly in love... which it seems most everyone is looking for... |

As Queene said, I met TheCaptain over two years ago on here and we met in person just about two years. Once I saw him walking down the ramp in Baltimore airport I just knew he was the one for me.
He surprised me at work last year by showing up and getting down on one knee and proposing in front of my co-workers. They wanted to see "An Officer and a Gentleman" kind of ending but I wouldn't let him pick me up and carry me out of the building.

and the hair do. I drove 3 hours for that worse thing was she had posted a young woman's picture on her profile Turned out the photo was Brandy Taylor the Porn Star I am glad to report she is not on this site any longer it is funny in the hindsight  |

oh yeah... fake pics are the worst..
I was meeting a guy at a diner once... talking on the phone as he was driving... when he started a 'how important are looks anyway' kinda conversation.. I knew it had to be a fake pic... called him on it and he admitted it.. so I left and never met him or spoke to him again... |

I went on a date with her and we are good friends now. have not heard anything from her in a while she is very busy usually and works lots of hours.

there was a guy i met back in nov and he only lived about 1hour away in another town..
out of the 7months relationship i only saw him 5times he gave me nothing but excuses and he came down in may for he wanted to see star trek. but prior to that i didnt see him for 2months. well after he left a few days later i had ask him when i would see him again. he made up a excuse and said that he had to help his sister put the a/c in the window. well geeze it doesnt take 2days to do that, and i was waiting for that word (whatever) and he said it so i knew it wasent ment to be so i wrote him a letter and i told him i can understand now why his ex wife cheated for he was never around, and he actually agree. i even wrote a poem based on him and called him a chicken wimp...LOL!! he didnt know how to brake up with me, for he didnt want to hurt me,. well he didnt he just pissed me by not being honest.. i broke up with him. there alot more to it... but prior i had met someone over a yr ago from another site. and it just seem he doing the same thing, but hes a work aholic and why do i put up with this crap... who knows |

I've met one guy in person from this site, we hit it off instantly and soon after I moved in with him. Turned out he grew up just a few blocks from me, but because of the different school districts and him being 5 years older, we didn't know each other from school. I lived with him for about 16 months before the "family" issues became too much for us to deal with anymore. His son moved in with us about 9 months prior to me moving out, and his kid was psycho horrible towards me. We just couldn't deal with it any more, so I walked away.

I met someone from here. We talked for 6 months before meeting. We then dated for a fantastic month. Then he suddenly wasn't interested anymore. Found out we started talking VERY shortly after his wife's death and I was not the 'rebound' girl exactly, but whatever you call the first person a man dates after being widowed.
