If God passed by you on the street would you know he was there?

Would you notice him at all?

Or would you just see another person that was in your way on your way to
the top?

I'd like to think that I would notice. You can have the "top". It just
makes for a harder fall!

From a Biblical perspective, you would die.

You just confused me.

Do you mean if God came near you would die?

Or if you saw him as just another in your way you would die?

YAE YOU WOULD KNOW
Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and
elders, said,He saved others;himself he cannot save.if he be the King of
Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.He
trusted in GOD;let him deliver him now,if he will have him:for he said,
I am the son of GOD.The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast
the same in his teeth......matthew27;41-46. you see JESUS BECAME OUR
PASSOVER;

as there shall be false teachers among you: devil

Exodus 33:20
--------------------------------------------------------------
But He said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!"
--------------------------------------------------------------

John 6:46
--------------------------------------------------------------
No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has
seen the Father.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Now if you are talking about Jesus, that's a different story...

You would, without a doubt, notice him.

FOR JESUS HAD SAID IF YOU SEEN ME YOU HAS SEEN THE FATHER!

I beg humbly to differ.

He is in you therefore if you walk by me on the street God has passed me
by.

It's fine that we can all disagree, I was just saying what God (or
Moses, if you don't believe God really talked to him) and Jesus have
taught.

Now we beseech you.brethren,by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and
by our gathering together unto him,That ye be not soon shaken in mind,or
be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us,as
that the day of Christ is at hand.Let no man deceive you by any
means:for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away
first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;Who opposeth
and exalteth himself above all that is called GOD,or that is worshipped
;so that he as GOD sitteth in the temple of GOD,shewing himself that he
is GOD.Remember ye not, that, when i was yet with you,i told you these
thing? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his
time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:only he who now
letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.And then shall that
Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his
mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:Even him, whose
coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying
wonders,And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that
perish;because they received not the love of the truth, that they might
be saved. And for this cause GOD shall send them strong delusion ,that
they should believe a lie:That they all might be damned who believed not
the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give
thanks alway to GOD for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because GOD
hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation Spirit and belief of the
truth: NOW THE WORDS OF GOD''..THE HOLY BIBLE***

Are you saying that I can not see God?

That you can not see God?

That these people in this space can not see God?

That a baby in the cradle can not see God?

What does the rapture have to do with this topic? It's an interesting
discussion, but it probably deserves it's own thread.

But since you have already mentioned it, would you mind telling me what
the following verses are talking about?

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
------------------------------------------------------------
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in
Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught
up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so
we shall always be with the Lord.

AdventureBegins,

I'm telling you what the Bible says on the subject. I have offered my
opinion, you have offered yours; I don't really see any reason to debate
the issue. If we don't stop here, I will spend the next week being told
by Christians and non-Christians what an angry person I am and told how
I'm trying to "shove my beliefs down soandso's throat".

There are only 4 known gospels which include the actual words of Christ
in our modern bible. All else is but a letter an epistle an addition or
an inturpretation of the unknowable essence by men when discussing
Christ and God.

All your saying here is that Jesus must not have been God then,
otherwise everyone who looked upon him would have surely died.

This was not mean as a biblical question.

However since you opend that can of worms.

You quoted John..

'John 6:46
--------------------------------------------------------------
No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has
seen the Father.
--------------------------------------------------------------'

and stated that if we saw God we would die.

So then you must not think you are from God.

I AM

No he is talking about the father, if jesus came down you would notice.
You can not look at the father without dying

Do you then believe you are not from God.

I would say that you are.

If you are from God then In this time you may look upon him for you have
been granted that by Grace.
