The weirdest thing ever happened to me in the last 24 hours!!

First I had a terrible relationship crisis that caused a lot of heartache-crying- vomiting the whole nine yards

So I called my bestest of friends. A big 6'3. 245lb gorilla man. We've known each other 30+years! We were in diapers together our parents were friends...

Well I called him and he rushed right over. He held me while I vomited he rocked me. He held me. He sang to me

Then he told me he always loved me!!!! I almost died cause I always did kinda crush on him bad. He's in the middle of a seperation I am seperated

Do I go for it. What would you do?

Do nothing for one month. If you are still interested in a month then go out on a date.

I'm very sorry for your heartbreak. flowerforyou

ask him over for coffee

you've known each other since you were in diapers, you can afford to take it slow and get it right

Whoa! Take it slow! You're both ending relationships and there is nothing worse than a rebound relationship no matter how long you've known each other. Since he has been a friend for a LONG time then you have plenty of time to perhaps get this right IF it's meant to be! Good luck!

You've waited this long, I say this because you have both had other relationships.Another few weeks would not make a difference, wait for a little while longer is the best advice I think.Good luck in whatever you choose.

If you don't take it slow, you could end up ruining a LONG time friendship and that would be a tragic! I hope it turns out to be the best relationship you've ever had!

Huh!? ... Umm, I already did the math, thanx ... ohwell

... My advice would be to get clarity ...

... Deliberate ...

... If/When centered???

... Then seek your own inner counsel ...

... Think long when you can decide but once!

First thing that came to mind is "two wrongs won't make a right".

Both of your lives are more or less in crisis. Sometimes it is real easy to confuse feelings when you are upset.

Your friend probably found a lot of comfort in being needed and feeling like the hero to a friend and a very pretty woman. Newly single is really scarey; especially for men who would like to hop from one warm bed to the next. That isn't being nasty about your friend that is a normal feeling for anyone faceing being single. Especially with fall and the holidays stareing down the gunbarrel.

My real concern is for your well being. What you are talking about is a pretty severe stress reaction. Whatever trauma you experienced or are re-experienceing I would recommend seeking out some really stable support to get through whatever happen to you. Work through it.

Then in the spring, if you and your friend still have interest, which will not die out if it is real, can start on clear ground. Both of you would have a lot better chance at a happy life. Good luck. Keep you in prayers for peace and strength.
