Slow and bringing her friend with are 2 different things... but to answer the original question I would say wait this next weekend out... its a going to be a holiday weekend and people are usually busy. Maybe she would be up for something simple like coffee during the week?

Cancel/postpone until Sept 14? you mean if it gets canceled for some reason ask again for Sept 14? I think she was trying to say the same thing I did.... this weekend may be busy so the following weekend might be better. |

Maybe since you did the movies and couldn't talk much, the next date could be something like a picnic in the park/beach or miniature golf(or is that stupid?). Here's an idea! Have something you have to take care of(fib if you have to). Tell her you have to pick up something at the mall and ask if she would like to come along. Then it's not really a date but you're together! |
