Fearless is not the absence of fear. Its not being completely unafraid. To me, fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death. Fearless is falling madly in love again, even though you've been hurt before. Fearless is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again...even though every time you've tried before, you've lost. Its fearless to have faith that someday things will change. Fearless is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only hurts you, even if you cant breathe without them. I think its fearless to fall for your best friend, even though he's in love with someone else. And when someone apologizes to you enough times for things they'll never stop doing. I think its fearless to stop believing them. Its fearless to say "you're NOT sorry", and walk away. I think loving someone despite what people think is fearless. I think allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor is fearless. Letting go is fearless. Then, moving on and being alright...Thats fearless too. But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. Because i think love is fearless. - Taylor Swift

I could not have said it any better!

Hi Munchie, i have read this post but it is very complicated. I guess I have to agree it is about courage. We all have fears.

Oh I get it. I think. But I may not agree. I don't think a handfed pampered music star like taylor swift crying on a bathroom floor over a boyfreind is very fearless. But I thought my buddy jimmy grabbing a two by four and fighting off a 1200 pound grizzly bear that attacked me was fairly fearless. I don't think falling madly in love after being hurt before is fearless. But continueing to fight off the enemy to protect my fellow soldiers and protect my position from being encroached even after being shot twice was pretty fearless. But everyone has their own perception of interpretation.

I think you understand fearless

No. In a wierd way I didn't understand fearless. At the time I was shot the adrenaline was pumping to the point I didn't feel the pain. My mind thought anger for being shot.(That guy shot me- I'm pissed!) I was angry and took action subconciously in the heat of the moment. It wasn't until later after I was relieved and others told me what I fearlessly did (some of it was amusing) that I realized what I did and how much pain I was in. So I can relate in that sense. My fearlessness triggered by anger. Others fearlessness triggered by pain, or fear, or happiness, or love, or frustration, or hopelessness. I can see it.

Hmmm fearlessness caused by conceptual instinct and feeling. Very interesting.

Hmmmmmmm. Pavlovs dog salivated when the dinner bell rang. And pavlovs dog became fearless when the mailman rattled the mailbox. Interesting.

Hmmmmmm. And I always wondered why when I went to my clinical psychologist HE would lie on the couch and talk about his life and problems and then hand me a check afterwards. I get it now.
