Thanks to everyone taking the time to post. I am SO enjoying this diverse group of people. This just takes my day to a higher level. I love reading the verbal sparring that goes on, the outrageous humour and all of your input. Don't know who said this, but someone must have: I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death, you're right to say it. Give yourselves a huge pat on the back, a huge hug and above all, always have fun.

I looked this up because I was curious about where it came from: http://www.classroomtools.com/voltaire.htm The phrase "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" is widely attributed to Voltaire, but cannot be found in his writings. With good reason. The phrase was invented by a later author as an epitome of his attitude. It appeared in The Friends of Voltaire (1906), written by Evelyn Beatrice Hall under the pseudonym S[tephen] G. Tallentyre. ...

How nice to hear such nice things about us! I think we all have a good time spewing forth our opinions etc and we're pretty brave with a keyboard between ourselves and the other party.

How about "cascade forth our opinions". Sounds much better.
