I wouldn't let the government be part in a scientific research first off. The government has shown they are horrible bookkeepers and financial advisors for many decades now.

I would use the money as a private enterprise supported by concerned parents and corporations who really want to help in a program on how we as a people can educated children the importance of peaceful coexistence and the tolerance and understanding of various cultures, lifestyles, and belief systems in a exciting computer program by the most advanced and skilled professionals.

These programs of education would be distributed to classrooms as a new age of educating children to ensure that those who become important figures in society will preserve peace, can be brilliant diplomats, and can encourage and use savvy language to create peace without the resort of war.

I would hope that this starting money of a hundred million would also add in funds in time to trillions upon trillions of dollars to ensure every child in the world regardless of poor or rich can have the opportunity to get a great educational program and system that actually teaches the importance of understanding cultures and peaceful coexistence.

Of course further educational strides would be included educating our children the problems our planet is facing such as fresh water depletion, energy resource issues, etc. etc.

Education is where I would put the money if I would ever had the opportunity to lead such a project receiving such huge funds.

Actually a hundred million isn't alot to tell you the truth, but it is a start.

All you have to do is put the money into a religious name, they pay no taxes and the government doesn't control them much at all.

That would be awesome Smiless... we need to teach our children to think differently. I know there is a school in the Seattle area called Cosmic Kids...its geared for the "new" children. I only wish I would have know of these places when my boys were younger.

Cosmic Kids they call it you say. Very interesting. I have a feeling Bill Gates maybe funding this. His wife is very active in the community over there.

I love Seattle. I have lived in Tacoma for a year as an exchange student back then. Ever since then I had visited Seattle at least a dozen times. laugh

It may be a place to retire one day because I enjoy the hikes, the nature, the serenity, and the entertainment of the city if I ever need it once in awhile.

Hmmm....paranormal research and I would make a big donation to SETI.

Because they simply don't have enough antennas to cover enough of the sky.

to spend on scientific research, what would you spend it on? Why?

Would spend it on funding research to find that part of the brain that makes us so greedy. if we could find it and eliminate it maybe the world would not go hungry as much.

the kidney foundation so they could build an artifical kidney

why? so that robin wouldn't ever have to worry about not getting a compatible kidney and/or it being rejected.

As great as an idea that is, I'm not sure if that would constitute as "scientific'...

I would spend it on research to find out if penis size is really important to women, as it is a topic that seems to come up every week in the intimacy/sex forum.

yes, it is...

There, I just saved you a hundred million dollars

awww thanks

like I told keith, there are other medical issues to treat before I can finish with the tranplant workups to ensure that my system can take the shock of the surgery so it'll be several months till we find out if I can even have a transplant

but it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when people are nice to me

yea, gave me a warm fuzzy when I read what he wrote...
Natalie Cole went on Larry King and talked about it and got a donor..
guess it helps to be famous.

Good Luck with ALL you have to go through
