Body art looks sick. It is fascinating. Very appealing to my eyes.

I have zero underlying, spiritual, get in touch reasons to get a tattoo with awe-inspiring meaning.

I like them because they look freaking cool to me.

That simple.

Anyone who says "ya, but when you get wrinkly whats it going to look like? gross! "

For real? Thats the argument against getting them.

I will be wrinkly in 35 years. 35 years I get to enjoy the visual stimulation of the art on my body or whoever elses.

Get it. Just go do it, you only live once

If you only see yourself getting one better make it a decent size... A guy with one tiny tattoo just looks like a fairy

As far as the price goes... you get what you pay for, remember that! A great tattoo by a great artist is going to cost you.

I have 7 and love all of them and would still like to get more

Just choose something that is meaningful to you and you wont regret. Also agree with Myka, check out your artist to make it worth your time, the bit of pain involved and the cost.

I have four tattoos and I want 2 more. I have a dolphin on my right ankle and one on my left sholder blade. I have a rose on my left ankle and the word IRISH on my right sholder blade. The fith one that I want to get is a butterfly and the last one is going to be dedicated to my parents. I think tatoos are great but make sure it is what you realy want.

What does being a Christian have to do with getting a tattoo or other body art? whoa

Getting a tattoo is nothing to take lightly. If you decide to get one, research the artist, have him draw your design and put it on the fridge for a few months so you see it every day. You will probably make a few changes -- if not many -- before you decide on a final sketch.

I wish you well -- and to avoid tattoo regret. smile2 Don't get bands, sports teams or anything trendy. sad2

I have pix of some of my ink in my profile. I started 21 years ago and the ink is still fresh without blurred lines or black ink turning green. I am VERY careful about who works on me and they need a stellar pedigree! drinker
