I have been on other sites before and have e-mailed women over some very long extended conversations only to have nothing happen at all---no first meeting or even excanged phone calls. Hey I am 60 years old but physically I am very strong and I hope I don't look my age. Are there any women here who would like to meet an older "gentleman" for friendship and/or casual dating?

i have had guys email me view my profile and they would be in there 70s.. that doesnt go for me for im not about to date someone that can be my own father..
even dating someone thats 60yrs is a little out of my range

age matters? well wouldnt that depend on the person

most people now are educated on basic economics and evualate a potential mate based on Age, Hotness, and CASH

if you have alot of one or two of these things then you can go farther away from your current age lol

i've dated a guy who was about 15 years my senior so that would, today, put him at close to 60.

that's not to say that i'm usually attracted to older men and that i would date someone just because he were older - there's much more to it than just age.

i rely on chemistry and rapport, for the most part, age being just a characteristic they happen to have.

I have found that age is important with online dating. But, in real life it almost doesn't matter. A few care that I'm older than her father, but most don't seem to.

age only matters if the other person is older

if they are younger then it doesnt matter

Really? Dating someone who is as old as my father is not something I'd be interested in at all.

Yes in a long term relationship it would make sense to be with in five years of each other.

Dude, man, people like us gotta meet in person: that's the only way. Statistically, our age group is, stereotypically, one foot in the grave and so totally outta everything. Women gotta meet us, know us, and . . . realize. From the mid 30's up to the 50 mark, women have great judgment in what a real man is (pardon, there are exceptions - each way).

Other than that, the name indicates that you're like . . .

don't know, man, but it indicates antiquity!
