Ohhhhhhhh and by the way using the old saying I did not get the paper work or I did not know if they come after you does not work at all. No don't just toss it.My sons had to register too.its just incase there is a draft.doesn't mean his going into the army. I know what it's for..I don't want him registered. Legally, your son is an adult and if you throw out the papers, they can still call him on it. If they do, it could ruin his life. Being he's now grown up, let him decide how he wants to handle it. JMHO. Well, that's what I'll do... talk to him about it. He's a bigger bleeding heart than I am...

You have to remember at that time we were not at war.. and it can still come back on him when he files for any Benefits in the future. My son register he did not serve but then they would not take him due to a steel plate and 8 screws around his ankle where he broke it in 3 places. |

I guess I wouldn't worry about it if the military wasn't spread so thin...
and new places to fight popping up everyday. Most believe the draft will never come back..I am not so sure. |

and we won't have unless something REALLY drastic happens. and if that is the case EVERYBODY will be fighting and contributing unless Charlie Rangel gets his way but that is doubtful just because he registers doesnt mean he's gonna have to go fight. It is just in case something really drastic happens like getting invaded by China or Russia |
