Empty? so far I have found it to be fairly active, maybe not on a local level (although my state has its own forum so we will see) but active none the less.
I can see the frustration though when you do a search and most of the ones who pop up aint been seen in a month..but that does not mean they wont come back. like someone said, let it get cold outside... Has for expanding search areas....well, if I met one that was worth it I would find a way to be with em, no matter how far. And that ladys and gents is my sappy moment for the year. Thank you, thank you very much. |

It's a free site. you get what you pay for. I did meet 2 women in person from the site. They turned out to be train wrecks. Good Luck. be seeing you i met two girls in person from this site, one of them was okay but didn't seem to want to maintain the friendship with me, the other has remained a great friend that i occasionally see on weekends and hang out. now that i've got this great job though it matters less how far away a woman is. |

agreed though, that you might want to look for dating sites that you pay for if you're having trouble here...though i have found that often when you pay, it doesn't guarantee you'll get anything too amazing sadly.

I doubt if the people on a pay site are any better than the ones on a free one; just means they were willing to shell out money on a whim. Not sure if that's the kind of person I'd want to meet anyway.... |

Im gonna say it and yall are gonna just say Im crazy, but....
I have found that the harder ya look for "someone" the less the chance there is your going to find em. Why? Honestly I think it's because we try so hard to find em that we miss whats right in front of us. think about it..... |

The thing is, i really do not like threads (like this) which blame Mingle2, for something beyond their control... Pulling off the mod hat, plainspoken... You cannot hold a website "accountable" for your own shortcomings...and i guess we all have a few faults..I know i'm not perfect..no one is... Now, before you think of this as an attack..it isn't..i am only saying, that we make our own choices in life..Lord knows i'm not perfect..heck, i make bad choices, i find the same potholes/pitfalls that every person encounters, in life's journey. Life is what you make of it..and i guess some of us fail, sometimes..even me...but you can't blame the ride when it isn't broken..(well..you can..but then honesty always sets in) |

It's a humongous world, and if you're calling for someone new, using mingle2 as your megaphone...
you might hear an echo. I don't know the history of this site (like, what's with the "2" in mingle2?), but it seems rather new. The number of members do not seem to be enough to saturate the entire nation. If someone has some input on this, spill. |
