What reprocussions will planet Earth have to endure when this one gets pulled off & we have no say in the matter.

Nothing will happen. Have you seen the craters on the moon...its been hit by things much larger than what NASA is sending.

The moon is pummeled over 50 times a year by even bigger "blasts" of meteors with no ill effects. Relax. It's NASA, not Obama, looking for water for it's hydrogen to make fuel.

It could break off a asteroid that could anilate us down the road. Or cause more temperature change to Earth.

IF we find water, (a really big if) it could save many billions of dollars in the cost of space travel and exploration. Water on the moon would be five times the value of gold.

Well then any of the meteors that crash into it every year would also "break off an asteroid"...never happened. Relax, or sleep with a helmet on.

Again....this no different than when an asteroid of larger size hits the moon. Do some research...you'd be surpised of all the rocks that have come close to us and the moon.

Its ok...no need to worry.

and from what FACTS do you use to come to this conclusion? Do you know the mass of the moon? Do you know the amount of energy the projectile will release? Do you know anything that leads you to these wild conclusions?frustrated

think Please, enlighten us...indifferent

I am sure you are a nice person, smitten but darn... have some facts if you are going to say some crazy crap like this LOL...

I am going to put my tin foil hat on and just wait til this all blows over.
Listen to NPR this morning and get about 15 mins of straight information about what is happening on the moon and why they are doing it. Then everybody can comment.

In the meanwhile.....................

NASA already crashed the rocket into the moon this morning.

He really hasn't done anything to deserve it. They are just trying to influence him.

See, if he wins the Nobel Peace Prize, how could he possibly live with himself if he does anything perceived as remotely militarily aggressive by the international community?

From what I have seen, it will probably work.

A war that Bush started...
One we should be in in the first place...

The Russians couldn't defeat them, why does America think it can?
