I'm starting to see a pattern
I'm meant to be alone I saw it last night When full the moon shown When there is another Ever so near I begin to feel again That terrible fear I don't mean to I just can't help myself But I'm seeing my heart There on the shelf Is the fear of commitment Or deep feelings inside Either way I can't take it So I'm just going to hide I thought I was ready To tackle this fear But it has over taken me Where I stand right here Being alone Isn't such a bad thing It is just a word With a terrible ring |
