NY Times's Frank Rich Finds Anti-Bush Argument in Balloon Boy Saga

Next to the other hoaxes and fantasies that have been abetted by the news media in recent years, both the "balloon boy" and Chamber of Commerce ruses are benign. The Colorado balloon may have led to the rerouting of flights and the wasteful deployment of law enforcement resources. But at least it didn't lead the country into fiasco the way George W. Bush's flyboy spectacle on an aircraft carrier helped beguile most of the Beltway press and too much of the public into believing that the mission had been accomplished in Iraq.

My dog has fleas, can I blame that on Bush also?

When does it end?
I've seen people post about not dweling on the past and looking to the future.
Then why is everything blamed on something in the past. I know things are the way they are because of actions previously taken.
But when will the blame game end?

Come on it's one thing when my 5 year old blames the cat for something she did.
But grown men and women!
Stop the blame game and look forward to fixing things!!!!!!!!!

Well I think we can learn from the past with out living in it. I guess if Obama can get blamed for everything except my car not starting in this forum, it's going to happen. Most of this forum is about displeasure with Obama, so some retaliation is probably expected.

I am staying away from this forum more and more lately, because all the negative stuff is getting really old and frankly depressing, and it's not changing anything.

Not sure why anyone would want to be reminded of that spectacle on the carrier.

Yupper I did it all by my meatloaf self. And I'd do it again...
Really, I have no idea how anyone could blame a president for this hoax. The parents are responsible. The more I hear about the father the more I think he's bringing up a couple of clones of himself. Sick of hearing about him already but hey that's the media.
