I love the cold weather. Fires in the fireplace, fluffy, fuzzy sweaters, rain, red noses & cheeks. But, in California ya wear a jacket and go to the store and they have the temp @ 102.

Try loving it when you spend 1/4 your time working in it! Then there's the outrageous heating bills. Then again, you gotta love Pittsburgh weather. As Forrest Gump would say, it's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. Should be close to 70 degrees and sunny today, but good chance of rain and snow in a few days. Our motto is, if you don't like the weather today, stick around a few days. It'll change. lol

give me mid-70 temperatures all year round, and i'm a happy camper.

i like seeing the seasons change, and enjoy a pretty new snowfall, as well a few winter sports, but i can do without -30C temperatures, windchills, blizzards, blackened slush, black ice and slipping and sliding all over the road. |

A rainstorm and we should have marshal law. People go berserk. |

I don't like the winter, yes snow is pretty when it first falls. Can not stand the cold, If I had a choice between snow and cold I would prefer the snow.

I prefer winter over summer, but I'd much rather spring or fall.

Snow is pretty while it's falling. I like the smell of it!! But I am SO over the cold weather and the fuel bills.... the shoveling, time to scrape the car..eww! I feel ya with the Pittsburgh weather -- it's the same out here by Philly.

Can't wait til I get to FL! No more snow! No shoveling! Balmy temps, fun in the hot tub in January, no more losing my tan, shorts and a tee shirt all year 'round!!! Yahoo!!

Winter pluses = no bugs, no sweating, white Xmas, clean crisper air.

Winter minuses = Cold, freezing, heating bills, cars stuck in snow, having to dress up with 4 layers. The older I get the less I like winter, my bones do not take -30 centigrade like when I was young. So conclusion snow and cold for Xmas is enough for me the rest of the times I could do without. |

For all the negative parts of winter, I can't imagine living somewhere that didn't get snow. Winter makes you appreciate the first day of spring and warm weather that much more!
