I kinda got his point that the players were not listening to the coaches and he was mad at em and rubbing their noses in it. They should be good and humiliated after that

Hey coach wake up your only playing a stupid game with a ball, learn to think before you speak.

Where will you be in 2, 4 or 10 years when their football career will be over, nowhere to be seen, while the fat little girlfriend might still be there.

So in the grand scheme of things who is more important the girlfriend who might be there for their whole life or the coach who will be gone soon for sure and who cares more about winning a stupid game then about its players.

he is the winningest coach in Texas Tech history and just signed a $12.7 million contract.

he invented the spread offense and could get hired at any college he chooses

he'll be around a long time after these college kids are gone

Wonder how the spread offense can make a difference in the world apart from a football game that really amount to nothing but entertainment.

Still just a game, not because people make it like a life and death affair that it will be important.

Wow 12.7 millions for coaching a game and then you wonder why so many die of hunger I'm sure football coaches (players the same and of any sport game) will solve those problems.

I love sports as an entertainment thing but I still find that it only shows how we as a society have our proprieties in the wrong place.

Pay the policeman or the fireman who saves and risk their life everyday 12 million a year then I might think ok but a dam coach of a game with a ball wow we are so in tune with reality.

He sounds jealous to me. Like he wants the guys all to himself. He doesn't blame stardom, too much money, drugs, booze, partying, cool cars, time w/sponsors, fashion obsession for their lack of focus but the women in their lives are called "fat". He must be a riot to be married to.rant

I guess some people cannot feel effective unless they are running someone down.

But, he has a very legitimate point. There's nothing as dedicated, devoted, excited, passionate and neurotic as a football fan! Don't walk in front of the widescreen with a bowl of chips & dip at the wrong time!surprised

P.C. - I get tired when people have to apologize
that something isn't P.C. Anyway, it's been quite
unfortunate that, traditionally, we've been beat
by Tech for what seems like forever.

And we finally flush them and their coach uses that
excuse? How lame. Obviously, their team was in a
slump and the coaches weren't doing their job.

Whoop! Gig 'em, Aggies!

And we did it again today - 35 - 10 against Iowa State.

Let's see what happens with the Kansas/Tech game
(9 min left - tied) if they lose (Tech).
