Tiger Woods Releases An Apology To His Family After News Reports of Infidelity

The same day that new reports are released of an alleged affair between Tiger Woods and an L.A. waitress, Woods posts an apology.

The same day that new reports are released of an alleged affair between Tiger Woods and a waitress, Woods posts a statement on his website saying he has let his family down and regrets "those
transgressions with all of my heart."

Woods says he has not been "true to my values and the behavior my family deserves." He offered his "profound apology" to his supporters.

His comments came after Us Weekly magazine published a cover
story alleging that a Los Angeles cocktail waitress had a 31-month
affair with the world's No. 1 golfer.

It;s none of our business, I couldnt imagine me being in his shoes trying to have every media out there trying to get into my personal affairs. Just another reason to show how low the media is

I could be wrong but doesn't that come with being famous? Sort of the price you pay for fame....whether it's right or wrong?

Every limbo boy and girl
All around the limbo world
Gonna do the limbo rock
All around the limbo clock
Jack be limbo, Jack be quick
Jack go unda limbo stick
All around the limbo clock
Hey, let's do the limbo rock

Limbo lower now
Limbo lower now
How low can you go

First you spread your limbo feet
Then you move to limbo beat
Limbo ankolimboneee,
Bend back like a limbo tree
Jack be limbo, Jack be quick
Jack go unda limbo stick
All around the limbo clock
Hey, let's do the limbo rock

la la la etc (instead of instrumental break)

Get yourself a limbo girl
Give that chic a limbo whirl
There's a limbo moon above
You will fall in limbo love
Jack be limbo, Jack be quick
Jack go unda limbo stick
All around the limbo clock
Hey, let's do the limbo rock

Don't move that limbo bar
You'll be a limbo star
How low can you go

Regardless of your status quo, no one ever has the right to know your persoal affairs. Being famous doenst mean that also allows an open book to the public for your personal life. If it impacts the game and his ethic to the game then yes, that is how he is known.

My guess is, people feel a need to defend him, because he is not a typical celebrity, such as your attention whoring Hollywood types.

He is just a golfer, and a REALLY good one.

However, in my opinon, he has made the majority of his riches thru so many different endorsements, putting himself in the limelight, feeding off the fame he receives from the media - to the victor go the spoils.

If you feel it is none of your business, than turn the channel. The media has to make its money as well. If you don't like it, don't contribute by watching.

This isn't the 1930's anymore, when baseball writers kept Babe Ruth out of similar headlines. The entire time Tiger was having an affair, he knew the risk he was taking. Now we are all supposed to feel sorry for him, because it blew up and his privacy has been invaded?

Personally, I couldn't care less, either way.

this sort of thing has been going on even before I was born. Look at Kennedy.

I see it as part of fame. If people didn't buy the papers or pay attention to it....then it wouldn't be news for them. They are part of the public eye. I personally could care less but obviously enough do or it wouldn't be news

I tend to agree. I don't care about it myself and he isn't the first nor will be the last celebrity to be in the spotlight for personal business.

I don't care who is dating who, who is getting divorced, etc. But I see it as celebrities don't "clock out" and they are famous from being in the spotlight.

There are people that have become famous for the media coverage lol

Celebrities are made and payed by the public.

What do they expect!

That was kinda my thoughts. They use positive publicity (even with their personal life) to help with their fame....the bad should be there too. It is part of the job description of being famous IMO

They also tend to be role models for the young.

They deserve to be judged.
If they don't like it let them drop out of public sight.
