It can be fun finding old friends on different networking sites, but not all the news you catch up on will be good. I just found out that one of my old friends took his own life this past spring. While my head isn't spinning anymore, I just feel like someone punched me in the gut.

no, it has been a few years as he had moved away. we shouldn't let distance and life's busyness keep us apart, but we sometimes do.

I to, have had this happen,,,to be real with ya,,,about five times now,,and it just sucks to hear of anymore passing,,,there are not many more left,wink,
And one past driver buddy,,passed through his own doing,,,I was like you,,in a state of shock,,and dis-belief,,,when I was told he done that,,and it had been a couple of years earlier,,,,just such a waste,,,as he had a lot going for him in this world,,,,

Thanks everyone, and yes that is what i have been doing-remembering the good times.

I do not post often anymore. But i will share this. For those of us that have been on the internet for years, (and that's quite a few) sometimes people drop from view.

It just happened to me last month. I found out that a friend had passed last Dec. 9 (if memory serves)

Quite a shock. In my time here, in the past two years, i have lost a friend or two. Very special people. And it does (or should) soften the heart a bit.

All i can offer is my most sincere condolences. I'm sorry for your loss.

Our sincere condolences. It is difficult to lose a friend...whether that friend has been with you throughout the years...or just recently...whether it has been months or even years since they were in your day-to-day life or whether you saw them yesterday. While you will miss them...You will remember those good times.
