I think he would be cool to hang out every once in a while but as friends. Maybe more in a group setting.

The conversation was boring, he talked a lot about his dog.
I don't mind dating someone that is less educated than I am, but I like to have an intelligent conversation.

He had jeans and a t-shirt on... you would think for a first date that he would have worn something a little nicer.

Yes, I was wearing jeans but had on a nice shirt and sweater.


OH! And he said that he was the same height as me... but had to be at least a couple inches shorter than me. Good thing I didn't wear heels!
(I find this funny because of a recent post about individuals that lie in their profiles.)


Anyways.... I had a date. I went out. I tried.


(And for those of you that are just ready to jump on me for passing up the nice guy... Preference, people, preferences! )

I will nip that in the bud right away. When I gave him a hug good-bye... his was just a bit more than friendly. I don't like being mean, well I do but not in this case.

Eek! Well, as long as he knows "just friends", then I'm sure all is well.

Yeah... when he pops on later... I am going to have to make sure that just friends is clear.

I know how you feel though. A person gets all excited and then -- through no fault of either party -- there is total let down.

Side bar: I meet more guys that lie about their height! They must assume I am lying about being 5.11. It’s a total shock to them when I show up in heels, eh?

Don't ask when you will meet Prince Charming because he doesn't exist. Just look out for the guy that will turn you to butter, tickle your intellect and warm your soul!

Preferences are a good thing!

A person with ALL the qualities you seek will equal longevity vs. someone that is not "your" total package.

How am I going to take charge of a date?

Talk about and do what you want, tell him lets go somewhere else and end up go-cart racing, etc.

There was no talking about something else! It was horrible. When I did bring up something else... there was no intelligent conversation.

And it's too freakin' cold her to do something outside.

There was no making this date any better!

He sneezed directly into his hands. Even elmo knows to sneeze in his elbow!

Said that he bought soap for his bathroom sink but hasn't used it! (I know when you are at home... but for pete's sake wash your hands, even when you are at home)

He told me that cap off the toothpaste and hair in the drain is pet peeves... and his sister use to do that and it drove him crazy.

It was just a bad date! No getting around it!

Was the food good at least?

No! I can't really complain about that... I picked the place.

Then do what I do, start making fun of him, at least you will get a laugh; I went out to dinner with a friend and in the middle of insulting her, she pointed her finger at me and yelled (yes yelled in the middle of the restaurant) "I rebuke that word in the name of Jesus Christ" I get a kick out of messing with people.
