I recently went on a date with someone who said "I dunno" when I asked him what he wanted to do, after he asked me out. So, I decided what we'd do and where we'd go. He let me know he wanted to see me again, so I asked him what he had planned. He said "I dunno." I told him to think about it and let me know. Yesterday, he asked what I wanted to do.

It isn't that I expect the guy to make all the decisions. But, I don't want to date someone who can't make any decisions at all.

How do you all handle indecisive people?

I tell them to contact me when they can make a decision.

Not rocket science, just throw options in the mix and pick one, geeeeezzzz.

I had that problem with my ex-wife

we would decide to go out to eat and she would say "what do you feel like eating?" and I would say "pizza"

and she would say "I don't want pizza"

so I would say "seafood" and she would say "I don't want seafood"

so I would say "mexican" and she would say "I don't want mexican"

so I would say "I dont care, whatever you want"

and she would say "you're so indecisive. can't you ever make a decision? why do I always have to choose?"

I did that. He came back a couple days later and asked what I wanted to do.

Maybe he just enjoys your company and really doesn't care what you do together.

flowerforyou I have no problem with thatflowerforyou if the guy lets me choose what i want to do:banana: great:banana:

Sure, I don't mind choosing. But, if he's this indecisive in the beginning, perhaps he won't change later.

He won't change. And, if it bothers you now it will bother you even more later. I think this is not a love connection. ohwell

haha. Yeah, I asked him about different foods, as I had decided we were going out to dinner. He couldn't even let me know what he liked.

Yep. I was giving him another shot, as he seemed very nervous on the first date. He's a decent guy, but I dunno.

some guys are attracted to women that takes charge ...sounds like he is hoping this from you or trying to groom you into a dominatrix mentality
