Good morning. Hi, Kidz. If you ever miss the drama from being a nurse just let me know.
 It is nice to not be in rage sometimes because I can help someone with theirs. Like as I coming into work I was there to help one of our older nurses with her rage. Her and a younger pregnant aide had got into it. Of course, the younger aide is having her rage because she is ready for the baby to be born. So she is riled up. I tried to help with the nurse and say maybe the aide is just high strung. Evidently, it wasn't the right thing to say because the nurse thought the 'b' word would a better name for the aide. Then she said that she couldn't see how she could have gotten pregnant in the first place with an attitude like hers and how any man could stand to be around her. And then it was she isn't going to talk to me like I am a dog. I helped to calm the nurse down. We have to do stuff like that for each other because we are human. If we were super human it would be a lot easier especially running short staffed as we do.

 Running errands today (garage appt., meeting with newphew about the wedding, last minute shopping and continue packing). Lots of last minute little details I hadn't thought about until now. Maybe it's just nervous energy. Have a great day. |

Good morning, friends. I had a wonderful night. As usual I was stuck doing the floor by myself, again. Got to talk to the Director of Nursing this morning before going home. She is like the big cheese or your boss's boss's boss. My problems seemed so tiny to hers. She's got like the biggest balls when it comes to rage and venting. It is like the higher you get to top the higher the stress level and rage. You couldn't pay me enough money to do what she does. Yup, today's her last day. All the smart ones leave I told her just like any aide I would talk to. She just smiled the biggest smile. I know she will get a pay raise in her new job since she is a RN. I couldn't help but want to sing the song, "We got the biggest balls of them all." I think AC DC wrote it.

I will be thankful for the rain. Been out fixing computers. Nice indoor jobs are the kind I like in this weather. Good morning, Carole. It sure is hot here, now. Hewett Packard Pavilion computers sure don't leave you room to work inside of. I had to push the IDE ribbon back in so the cdrom would work so it would load the printer driver of the Lexmark all in one unit. She was having trouble with the USB mouse and keyboard so I put back in her PS/2 mouse and keyboard that came with it. My friend was happy when I left with her computer. I really vamped better with more RAM, a lot better graphics card, A NIC card in case she ever gets off dial-up and a USB 2 card for extra peripherals. Next time I see her though I am going to ask about the book cover she was going to crochet for me. She did a great job on the first book cover she crocheted for me. My friend networking is working great.
Like it says on the show scrubs;(Paraphrasing) "I sure ain't Superman."

going to be another nice day, low humidity but about 90. Having dinner with my granddaughter and her boyfriend tonight as they are moving to Washington, DC on Thur so Kaity can resume her education.. Getting her masters at the Smithonian.. I'm so proud of her!

Having dinner with my granddaughter and her boyfriend tonight as they are moving to Washington, DC on Thur so Kaity can resume her education.. Getting her masters at the Smithonian.. I'm so proud of her! That is something to be proud of. Good morning. I am working on the rafters of the new room. Had a little rain but it moved on.

I thought they shouldn't have been there in the first place! As for the nurse you told me about, maybe it was her condition but she definitely shouldn't have been arguing with the resident not that I'm a perfect little angel myself!

Good morning. Welcome to my second day off.
I bet you can take that in more ways than one. Maybe it is these days. Spring is for lovers as a young man's heart turns to love. But these are the dog days of August. I am wondering if the full moons of August are hotter than the full moons of other month. I am thinking of opening my own drama page. Just kidding. Speaking of kidding. Hi, Kidz. My mother's advice of praying before going to work I have found most useful lately. Its a powder keg at work. Lots of short fuses. My higher power is really helping me. Even though working extra hours at work would help my financial situation I am juggling it with my emotional stability. Some of the drones are being combative with the Queen Bee. Instead of 'walk softly and carry a big stick" like Winston Churchill is quoted of saying I had to modify it. I say "Walk softly but carry a feather." It is working for me. |
