I just have to laugh at you people that think potheads drive anywhere...lolololol...you obviously have no idea what your talking about...I dated a pothead for 2 years...got to know all about it...they don't drive...I mean really...whens the last time you heard of an accident caused by someone that was stoned??? Alcohol should be your worry   Sorry, E. I disagree. I dated a pothead as well and she drove a lot. Very fast, and with her two hitter in her hand at all times.  I know people who smoke and drive daily. Knew others that just used to smoke, when the high was not the same, they graduated onto bigger and better drugs. Doesn't happen to all but I do know it has. Thats a big myth there...a government one too...lolololol...look, I can't stand the smell of the stuff but who am I to judge...and how did our government get that right??? Not a myth, I do not of people who have turned to stronger drugs and do know people who still smoke and drive. Not everyone that smokes likes to sit around and vegetate. Hey doesn't DUI stand for driving under the influence. Does smoking marijuana not put one under the influence? |

Sure...and as soon as someone comes up with the percentage of accidents caused by marijuana (By the way...blood test is a valid way to test for marijuana and alcohol) driving under the influence could include any pain medications, cold medications, allergy meds, ...hell lets throw in caffeine too. If you want to point the finger at a gateway drug, try alcohol

I could care less about California,but I do believe if it does become legal the price will go WAY up.California has some of the highest prices in the country,it cost about a 1/4 of what they pay there,here.On a national level,if it did ever become legal,I'm sure the government will try to use the most expensive prices and make them nationwide...

WOW... 100% for ..... WHY is it Illeagal? mostly because around the time of the depression marijuana was associated with mexican immigrants and the border states, California, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas demanded it as a way to control them. This has nothing to do with how many people get killed on the roads. Alcohol wins that torture hands down. We just can't make enough money on it. Now if it was nutritional, then we'd be flying.
