I have said all along that I think some of these "candidates" sign up and then there is lock-down in the penn, the nurse comes in with meds, wife walks in, their Mom says dinner is ready, drugs/booze wears off...a number of things because they either disappear or don't know what the heck you're doing if you contact them.

Yeah... and some of them are dogs and vampires... plus all these undead. And some are kangaroos.

Did I miss something here?

I'm new to this site but find there to be a higher proportion of people who don't show their faces. I like to have an impression of the person I am speaking with

Yes, it's really difficult to click on profiles to view pictures, right?

Why can't you tell if a poster is male or female just by looking at the name as you can do at other sites. (color coded) Makes it difficult to frame your response if don't know who/what you are talking to. Yes, stone me, but my response to a man may be different than my response to a woman.

How many people are on here now, posting in the forums?

I remember a time when you couldn't keep up with all the postes and conversations.

Now I sit here trying not to fall asleep waiting for replys or new posts......

What happened?

People just get bored? Find something new?

If they did share!!! I'm a drunk hyperactive insominac. I need something to do!!

Poor poor me....tears

I was speaking in general. If you want to see pictures, find out someone's gender or any other info, check their profile. That's what they're there for.

You are 31 years old and live in Maryland. I am sorry but I don't consider us a match. Unfortunately, I had to leave the thread to find this information out. I did not read your profile. I wasted my time. Granted, it was not the end of the world that I had to do this. I just found it to be aggravating to have to do this. This is a site of which you are a member and I think it would be in every members best interest to not aggravate anyone who might check the site out in order to attract new users and expand your base. the more members that are attracted means the better chance of meeting someone special.

Not to mention the increased ad revenues.

Since you've been here, you've done nothing but whine about things you don't like. Thanks for letting us all know what you're like right off the bat!

If you stick around the forums long enough, you'll see that many aren't here just for dating. So, someone of a different age and living in a different state may be good as friends. If you feel you've wasted precious seconds by glancing at a profile, that's your issue, not ours.

Sing-

Seems I've touched a nerve. I apologize if I offended you as it was not my intent. I find absolutely nothing inherently wrong with you except our unsuitability for each other (age and distance) and the point I have been trying to make is about recommendations I consider would be improvements in this sites operation.

Actually, I myself am getting sick of this topic and have been concerned that others may begin to consider me to be a one-note song. My usual postings are much less serious and I tend towards the smart-***. Have I endeared myself to you yet? (See, I told you so!)

As far as not everyone being here for dating...how would my suggestions be seen to be negative? Certainly you can have friends on the other side of the continent if you so desire without interference if all my suggestions were enacted. I have been attemptingto be positive in trying to recommend easier ways to use the site for those wishing to meet someone suitable to them as far as age and location and looking for more than just friendship. Why does this seem to threaten you? I really do not understand the negativity it has brought forth from you such as accusing me of whining, wasting precious seconds as well as your "us vs. them" mentality evidenced by your "that's your issue, not ours."
