For me it was Peter Gabriel for the "So" tour in 87 as the best and Pink Floyd for a raindrizzled concert at Foxboro stadium(I was dying for)in 1989....I am not behind the times,I just saw Coldplay and Paramore...Love them both...I have seen Rush 21 times..I love a true great concert

I can't really remember the worst one....I guess I must have blocked it from my memory then.

Its really hard to choose the best concert I've gone to. The best bands I have seen live though would probably be Nine Inch Nails, My Bloody Valentine, and The Cure.

BEST? You want me to choose out of the 300 shows I've seen? Well OK, probaby the ELP's Works Tour..honorable mentions: Pink Floyd's Learning to Fly and also Cat Stevens. Roger Waters in '08 was an incredible show.

The worst? Hands down George Thorogood...what a HACK!

Sonic Youth at the Trocadero in 90' or 91'
was the best.

The worst, unfortunately...was Bowie at the Spectrum around the same time on his Sound and Vision tour.

Hmmmm...only one concert that I ever went to that truly disappointed me. That was Dope about a year ago. Had to sit through 4 opening bands. Dope went on stage, played 5 songs and left.

Other than that, all of the concerts I have seen, with the exception of some truly terrible opening bands, have been good ones.

I saw that tour and he was great...not the best I'd seen but he played all his hits...must have been an off night for Bowie when you saw him. That was Adrian Belew playing guitar on that tour!

I have to add a favorite, last year I saw Jackson Browne...it was an amazing show.

It was the first night of the tour so it's understandable. The sound was really hideous! I think he opens most of his tours in Philly cuz' he's recorded at Sigma Sound and did the Live At The Tower album there too in the 70's.

Best was probably Journey, worst had to be Nick Gildner as opener.

I saw them in the 70's then again in '08, big difference when Perry left the band...When I saw them in '08 Cheap Trick and Heart played then after a few songs of Journey we left. The lead singer they found off of Youtube...sorry...rock love ballads singe me nuggets. They had some great songs tho~...give them that.

Anyone see Joe Cocker? That's always memorable....

Best, hmmm Clapton, he played on Father's Day and sang Tears in Heaven, Lynard Skynard (the original), Elton John, Kiss, Yes, Rod Stewart,Alice Cooper and the Beach Boys, everyone knew all the words and would sing along with every song.

I've seen EC 7 times, the Slowhand tour was the best and finally he played Bell Bottom Blues at the 6th one...lol. He's sometimes lethargic in his shows but I enjoyed them all. Lynyrd Skynyrd, saw them before the crash and they were incredible....I recall Climax Blues Band doing a fine set opening for them. Saw them last year and they are still good...they have been bought by the T-Baggers and have lost their original messages tho~...Molly Hatchett Opened...they are still doing it right! Alice Cooper had the best theatric show I've ever seen.

KISS? Please!!!..lol.

Sonic Youth was amazing live... They played at this really small old theater against all these insane projector things that shot out weird images. This was after NYC Ghosts and Flowers and they were just rocking.

This one Nine Inch Nails concert on this giant hill was amazing. That would probably be my favorite. But who I was with and what I was smoking probably greatly influenced my decisions.

The only bad experience I've had was seeing my friend's band play because my friend was nodding out and I couldn't find a place to smoke and this girl was all over me when I really just wanted to listen to a bass solo and not her.

But yeah. Sonic Youth rocks.

Best: Plain White T's or Nashville Artist Will Hoge
I almost got tickets to Elton John and Billy Joel (and that would've been the best I'm sure.)

Worst: Definitely Britney Spears..

I saw Journey (with Heart and Cheap Trick) last year with Arnel (?) as the lead singer. I was pleasantly surprised.

Best show I've ever seen was Cyndi Lauper and Alanis Morrisette (sp?) doing a surprise private concert at a lounge I was hanging out one night in Manhattan.
