It happens to the best of us, the trick is to keep your head up and remember that not only are you awesome, but also, you can thrive as just you.

The last breakup I went through was rough - I was head over heels for the girl and we'd been together for 3 1/2 years. Then I moved to Spain and she fell in love with somebody else. Hurt. Like. Hell.

But, slowly -oh so slowly- I started to realise that actually 'me' wasn't defined by me+her anymore and actually this meant that I was having a lot more fun. Sure, it sucked for a long while but keep yer head up, lass - it gets better :)

Some people think they have love, when in fact it can be mere infatuation. Others are truly in love but can't see that the other person isn't. You're only 18 and if guys are breaking your heart left and right then perhaps you should take a look at the type of guys you date / are attracted to.
