A contestant on the US version of The Price is Right was so overwhelmed with the prospect of winning a swag of prizes that she fainted on set.

The woman was first offered the chance to win a holiday to Minneapolis and then a car.

The brand new Dodge was seemingly enough to send the contestant over the edge with the woman dramatically falling to the ground from behind the podium.

Footage shows host Drew Carey and another contestant rushing to the woman's aid and helping her to her feet.

The contestant soon recovered from the excitement and eventually went on to win the car.

I'd take the monetary value of the prizes.

LOL Price is Right is really that affected by the economy with giving out trips to Minneapolis. At least she won a car.

I've only passed out cold once, and came close twice. I guarantee it wouldn't be over a car.

The totally out cold was seeing the horse after surgery, after she had had her eye removed.

The two close ones were when I went in to donate blood. Once the bag hit half full, I felt woozy. However, that was before I had heart surgery and closed the hole in my heart, so I don't know if it would still happen. Haven't had a chance to try donating again.

It's kinda sad, though, as I don't have any issues with the sight of blood, mine, others or animals. Shrugs.
