E-Harmony just lost a class action lawsuit to the tune of $2 million because the courts found they discriminate against gay people.

seriously ,,wow,, thats too bad. All the sights out there,, they should be able to have guidelines like anyone else. Senior dating sights, start their age at a certain higher number for instance,,dont see people making a fuss about it

singles sights CATER to groups of people,,its what they do,,plenty of gay sights out there too,,,kind of a nonsense suit in my eyes.

Wow, whats next, sue the girl scouts for discriminating against boys?

Or man on man sights for discriminating against straights...
Or seniors meet for discriminating against non seniors

Dating sights do and should have the right to be set up for whatever groups they wish to be..far too many of them out there for it to be impeding anyone

Or maybe I should sue eharmony for not allowing married people to join,,,,

The litigiousness of our country is sometimes laughable,,kind of a waste of money if you were to ask me,,,

I do as well what about the sites that are geared towards gays? You really think if someone straight went on there they would in fact make admins just to satisfy them I think not.....This just gives more rights to sue over something for nothing.... And yeah I have had many gay friends and they would agree with me it is all within preference each site should be able to be specific on who they are geared towards...

but then again, perhaps I can retire early, imagine all those sites which discriminate against bi-sexuals,,,,,,,,,

Well...think about how they advertise.

And, by the way...and kinda' off topic...the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy in the military is goin' out....

So you think certain members of our military should be forced to live a lie?

No, I just dont think that employers have the right in a workplace to concern themselves with employees sex lives (i.e Dont ask)and that the workplace is not a place for employees to share their sex lives with co workers (i.e Dont Tell),,,especially a workplace as tense and disciplined as the military

I also think that in military quarters where people sleep and shower together,,that it would be disadvantageous to have such a distraction,,just as it would to have the women and men showering together. Not fair to have to worry if you are being checked out during such a vulnerable activity.

my point exactly,, its an unnecessary distraction for an employer or a coworker to be concerned with and doesnt belong on the job in the first place.
