Ok, lets put it into more of a personal way so that you may get what i'm trying to say. When we have children we try to raise them to be the best we possibly know. But no matter how you raise them or what you do, they still have FREE WILL. Now you created this person, but that person we speak of still possesses free will and will do what that person wishes. So would that make you evil if this child which we speak of grows up to be a serial killer? a terrorist? a rapest? or any other type that is cruel and causes pain to people. For this is what your saying God did.

Now yes God is all knowing, but chooses not to look into our future. For if God did that, that would take away the free will we have. For that would be saying our lives are set in stone, and things don't happen cause of actions we've done. Only one thing is ever set in stone, Jesus will return. For the rest it's up to actions taken torwards that incedant.

What i'm getting at is, God created Satan, but it was Satan's actions that created evil. Yes God could have looked forward and seen that Satan was going to do as such, and either destroyed Satan and or not creat Satan in the firt place. But this would have been taking away free will.

God can not be blamed for Satan using his free will for doing evil. For it was unseen that Satan would do as such. Would make everything pointless in everyone's life if God already knew who was going to heaven/staying in heaven or going to hell.

God has also destroyed. The thing is to put god on a pinnacle and then to try to separate the parts that don't agree with our personal vanity is what colors a person's views on God himself. Not one person living can truly speak for god. For god to be all powerful god would have to understand that evil has its purpose.

Mankind can choose to create or destroy. Likewise so can God. God had more than an understanding when man kind got the glimmer of realization what good and evil was. To say God is not good and evil also says that there is a boulder that is so big that god himself cannot lift it. Somehow I think mankind will go extinct long before Jesus returns. Mohamed supposedly is going to return as well.

Much can be said about the question: what would you do if you looked at a baby and seen the next Hitler or Stalin and you are faced with a choice to let that evil live or kill it before it has a chance to do any harm? Bear in mind for this hypothetical argument that you KNEW beyond a shadow of a doubt that child was evil.

To kill is evil but knowing that child will kill millions? You see complacency is just as bad as being the direct accomplice to an act of murder. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I am absolutely sure omniscience comes with the knowledge of all things good and evil.

Too many people focus on what "God" said and not listen to the ideals that God's word supposedly expresses. I could argue that Jesus could have spoken in his defense and if he was so perfect found another way to save man from himself rather than think an act of sacrifice would end the tragedy man does and commits in God's name.

How much evil was committed in the name of God that was truly just and right? Slaughtering Islamics and Coptics because they were not Catholic? Three separate inquisitions? Was that God's work?

I just have problems with certain ideas about God being such a perfect god of love.

Just a slob like one one of us?

Would make him like us. It would be like him creating himself in our image.

Now what would that do for God's image???

Would make himself real in our eyes and not just in our hearts.

God made good and evil!

Anyone wanna play Frisbee with me?

God created good, God did not directly create evil. We were all suppose to live in the garden of evil. Satan created evil. When God created Satan, he was not evil. He was God's most powerful angel in everyway who thought he was greater then God. For punishment of such God kicked him out of heaven. But originally Satan wasn't evil. So thus God did not create evil.

'The god virus', great read, suggests that the outrageously faulty logic, and coarse intellectual dishonesty of such statement as the one made in the previous post, could easily be 'nailed' and argued backward by a free spirited 3 year old!!!

Why would anyone care to spread such powerful ANTI LOGIC!?!?!

I believe man made God in his image!

amen brother.
One only has to look at a variety of different societies and cultures from different places on the Earth to see that, indeed, the godthings always always always reflect the cultures in which they are worshipped.
One would think, if there was one all powerful God, people everywhere would've gotten pretty much the same idea of him.
